Terms and conditions
The rules for using our websites and the platform, and what you can expect from us.
1. About these terms
The Expat Suite (trading as The Expat Saas) · Email: privacy@thexpatsuite.online
These terms govern the use of our websites (thexpatsuite.online and portal.thexpatsuite.online) and of The Expat Suite platform. By using them you accept these terms. Specific services, such as a relocation engagement or a software subscription, are also governed by the agreement or proposal you accept for them; if the two differ, that agreement prevails.
2. What the platform does
The Expat Suite helps people moving to Spain, and the relocation agencies and law firms that assist them, organise a move: documents, appointments, housing, messages, official forms and invoices. Information on the websites about visas and procedures is general guidance, not legal advice for your situation; advice is given only within an engagement with a qualified professional.
3. Accounts
- Keep your password private and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- Give accurate information, and upload only documents you are entitled to share.
- Firms are responsible for the staff accounts they create and for the use their staff make of the platform.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the platform to break the law, to upload malicious files or content you have no right to, to try to access other people's accounts or data, or to disrupt the service. We may suspend an account that does so.
5. Your content
The documents and information you upload remain yours (or your firm's). You allow us to store and process them only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy.
6. Fees and payment
Prices for relocation services and for the software are set out in the proposal or quotation you accept, including VAT where it applies. Card payments are processed by Stripe. Invoices are issued through the platform.
7. Intellectual property
The platform, its design, software and content (other than yours) belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify or resell them without our written permission.
8. Availability
We work to keep the platform available and secure, and monitor it continuously, but it may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. We keep regular backups.
9. Liability
We are responsible for providing the platform with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for decisions of public authorities, for delays caused by third parties, or for the accuracy of information you or others provide. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Spanish law, including consumers' statutory rights.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using the platform at any time and ask for your account to be deleted. We may close an account that breaches these terms. Engagements and subscriptions end as their own agreements set out.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may bring a claim before the courts where you live; consumers in the EU can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform. For businesses, the courts of Spain have jurisdiction.
12. Changes
We may update these terms; the version published here applies from the date shown. Last updated: 4 November 2026.
